The rubber cover (base plate) is not just for protection against scratches. When walking on hard rock, cement, or asphalt, it provides better flexibility, increased friction, and reduces wear on the tungsten tip.

• Unscrew the locking device until the tube contracts freely.
• Adjust to your desired length.
• Tighten the locking device firmly (do not over-tighten).
• Avoid exceeding the "STOP" flag to ensure safety.
• If the tip gets stuck, pull it out vertically without shaking.

After each use, pull out all joints and scrub both inside and outside. If exposed to moisture, ensure every section is completely dry before reassembling. Regularly check the locking mechanism for reliability.
